Common signs are a water bill that went up for no reason, water stains on ceilings or walls, warped floors, a musty smell, the sound of running water when nothing is on, or a water meter that keeps moving when all water is off.
Turn off every faucet, shower and water appliance. Look at the meter and note the reading or watch the small leak indicator dial. Wait 30 minutes without using any water. If the reading changed or the dial moved, you most likely have a leak.
We work to find the exact spot first, so any opening is small and only where the leak is. Often the leak is at a fitting or supply line we can reach without cutting at all.
A slab leak is a leak in a water pipe running under a concrete floor. Signs include warm spots on the floor, damp carpet or flooring, cracks, and the sound of running water. They need to be found and repaired quickly before they damage the foundation.

It depends on your policy. Many policies cover sudden damage but not damage from a slow leak that went on for a long time. Call your insurance company to check, take photos, and keep the repair paperwork.
Yes. The EPA says a faucet dripping once per second can waste more than 3,000 gallons a year. Hidden leaks also cause mold, rot and damage to floors and ceilings long before you see them.
